On the 11^th of November, we celebrate St Maarten in the Netherlands. Sint Maarten is a holiday in honor of Saint Martin of Tours. Children have homemade lanterns and are walking on the streets from house to house, signing songs in order to collect candy. Therefore, it is clever to have some candy in-house for the children.
